Who We Are:

What started out as a project for a book has transformed into a project for awareness, understanding an bringing people together. Many extended family bonds have been made in the quest to learn as much as possible for what it means to be diagnosed as "Craniofacial". We are C.A.R.E, we are Beauty in Imperfection, we are CranioArt Melanie Roder. I started out as only one person from Omaha Nebraska, yet the friends that I have made will last a lifetime and be forever in my heart even long after our cranio kids have grown and had kids of their own. I want everyone that is involved in our lives and any future friends to know that "Beauty In Imperfection" is for you and for your Untold Stories.

 "Beauty In Imperfection: Do You See Beyond the Shape of Me? " is constantly a work in progress. We are buildin the a book and have several awareness videos uploaded on our YouTube Channel.  We hope to complete a book  of drawings, stories, information, and letters to promote the awareness and understanding of various cranial and facial conditions that affect children and adults all around the world. I have not secured a publisher and will most likely self-publish this book and  make it available for purchase from this very website when it is completed.
